"Unfortunately, this ceiling is too old for maintenance to reduce the fan speed for noise. They also will not replace it for a current model. When something is installed when unit was built, Redwood will not update the item. As the item gets older, it will not be replaced unless the renter pays for the replacement. I could move into a neighboring unit for a usable shower and not spend money on a replacement or I can pay over $10,000 to replace the shower at my expense. When I move out, Redwood will not need to update the shower but I cannot take it with me. Shaky business practices."
