"I was at your store on Wednesday for the very first time. Not only did I find a cart full of beautiful items that were fairly priced but the people working were so nice! There was a gentleman there on his first day on the floor and he made sure I got the help I needed even when he didn’t know the answer to my question. He was learning to do displays and was doing a fantastic job. There was also a very sweet lady with brightly colored hair that was super friendly. It was refreshing to find a store that was clean and organized with good merchandise and an even better staff!"
"Bad customer support. I bought a $4 clock and when I got it home the numbers were very hard to see. I went back to return 3 days later and before I could ask I was told "No returns, no matter what". I understand rules and polices but I also understand customer support. All I wanted was a $4 credit for something that didn't work. Oh well, I know no one cares but I won't shop there. It would've been so easy to give a store credit and I would've spent that, and more, right then and there. It's too bad what is happening with small businesses. This is the exact reason why Amazon is taking over, because they understand customer support. Darn, wish it went down differently. Maybe this will help to open their eyes a little. I'm just one customer and I don't matter, that's very clear. Okay, I'll stop being a "jerry" and wish them the best, but next time you may want to have an open mind just for a second."
"If there is such a thing as a high-end Salvation Army, this would be it. The window displays walking in almost made me think I was at the wrong place. There were not a lot of home goods and almost no kids or baby clothes. The prices were double that of most Salvation Army stores."
"Relocation to Florida, loaded my suits winter suits in the trunk, drove to 4th street Salvation Army. Wouldn't take them because they weren't in a bag?? Some of this sports coats cost > 1200 at Barney's of New York! Hmmm. Gave them to the housekeepers husband!"
"So for the most part the prices in this store seem a bit high but the reason I am giving it 5 stars is because for one, they did a great job fitting a thrift store into a thriving downtown royal oak complete with hipsters and young professionals that other than buying overpriced cocktails don't know how to spend their money. The other main reason is that I was successful in buying a $500 pair of size 13 Brooks Brothers Dress Shoes for only $30. Maybe people are buying this stuff and the owners are genious for pricing it the way they do. We will see."
