"The communication with this company does not exist. They tried to deliver my package and no one was at the business. Instead of leaving a note letting me know they missed me, or calling me, they just took the package back to the warehouse. Without communicating with me, they decided to google business hours for my location and schedule a different delivery day without my knowledge and now I can’t get my package when I need it. The business they googled isn’t the only business at this address. They don’t send tracking updates so I have no idea when to expect my package. Whoever handles calls didn’t even bother to leave a message when calling me the next day. When I called back she was extremely unhelpful. Avoid this company for shipping if you can. I had no choice."

"I would never recommend this place to anyone, not for business nor employment. I went in for an interview two minutes ago and was never called back. I tried to reach out to the guy who interviewed me and unfortunately couldn’t reach him. I believe they are running a scam to get ppl to come in fill out an application and then don’t hire them, but keep all you personal information. If you’re not going to hire a person, I strongly believe that your information on your application should be returned back to you for disposal."
"In the past, I would have advised any/all clients to use other National Carriers in the LTL market. After the past couple of years my respect for CTI has grown tremendously. While other national carriers (EG YRC/Yellow, Fedex, Tforce) were blaming SCM challenges created by Covid for all of their problems, CTI was operating with far more efficiency and continued getting the job done. While other carriers were taking 3-5 or more days to get in for a pickup, CTI was taking 1-2 days. While others were losing freight, experiencing higher damage claims, and experiencing choke points all over their networks, CTI kept freight flowing through their networks far more efficiently. While the likes of Tforce and some other national carriers have fully outsourced their customer service centers to the Philippines, and failing to properly train their employees at these virtual customer service centers (leading to terrible service), CTI kept their customer service center here in Michigan. Their people are well trained and get accurate updates quickly. Call Tforce's customer service, on the other hand, and you typically won't get any answers. Lastly, while others were price gouging, CTI's rate increases were far less aggressive and more friendly to the small/medium size business environment. They have outshined other national LTL carriers in MANY ways over the past few years, and they deserve a lot of credit for this. If you have unique freight characteristics (over-sized, high value, extremely time sensitive and/or many accessorials needs) then I may still advise you to use a different carrier. If you have freight that is packed well on standard pallets and not extremely time sensitive, then I think you should take a hard look at giving CTI a chance."
"Unacceptable. Customer service representative behind the counter showed unpleasant attitude once we entered the office. We asked for a package that we were expecting to pick up and was told by the rep to come back the next day while in the middle of business hours. The service representative attitude was rude to us, showing signs of irritation. But as we insisted on receiving our package while we were there, the representative finally handed over the form to us to pick up our package. As another representative brought out our package, that representative did show much better service and was nice about handing it over. I would not recommend Central Transport to anybody. Terrible."
