"My experience with this agency taught me one should never call the sellers company if you are interested in a property they are representing because they don't care about the buyers interests. I called 3 days after a property went on the market and put in an offer 2 days later. The plot of survey clearly showed an encumbrance on the property with the neighbors driveway being 8 feet over the property line on this vacant piece for sale. Kate acted very surprised, and Craig who represented the seller and who also represented the seller when she bought the vacant property 5 years earlier also acted surprised! I made an offer which stated the encumbrance needed to be removed. That offer was not accepted. I made a second offer and did not hear back 5 days later and when I called Kate she said: Oh the seller is out of town and will get back to you the she returns...The contract states I should hear back in 3 days. When I did hear back the was no counter offer and I was done with these people. Kates response to me was: Well it will sell and there will be a house on it within the year. In fact the property sold 19 months later and a house was built on it which the owners immediately turned into a STR. BTW, in the end, 19 months later, the seller got $9,500 more than my offer and the neighbor had to move the driveway. I was impressed by the unprofessionalism and the total lack of regard for my interests. I don't think the seller came out that well either. Clearly I should never have dealt with this agency."
