"Only complaint was the air conditioning was a bit noisy but other than that it was an excellent experience. That visit was for my wife's birthday and we came back in January for my birthday! Had a great time with friends in the lobby by the fireplace. Another great stay!"
"We loved our winter stay at The Dörr Hotel! We enjoyed a perfect blend of modern with winter coziness and charm! The location was ideal, the room was spacious and inviting for our family of 4 and the lobby with bar was beautiful and useful. All staff were welcoming and helpful. My boys particularly loved that they could get complimentary hot chocolate from the convenient machine in the lobby as well as a light snack for breakfast. I would absolutely stay here again and plan to recommend this hotel to a friend who is planning a surprise trip for his wife."
"We loved staying at the Dorr Hotel. The good: Very clean and modern (DOES NOT have that typical hotel fragrance smell), the staff is very friendly and helpful, not crowded (there are only 47 rooms), cozy lobby with a fireplace area, high end amenities (lights, bed, shower, etc.), close to main town area (shops, lakefront, beach, attractions, etc.), private reserved parking, beautiful view of lake and town. The not so good: price is a little higher, you have to pay for the room in advance, breakfast could have more variety of items (cereal, croissants, scones, etc.). Overall we would stay again at The Dorr."
"We loved our stay at the Dörr Hotel. It is in a perfect location in Sister Bay and is very modern and well appointed. There were so many cozy spots to sit and relax throughout the hotel, in addition to the comfortable rooms. The service was excellent from the front desk/bar staff to housekeeping. This will be our go-to hotel anytime we come up to Door County."
"Had a great experience here, rooms are nice and very clean. Everyone was friendly and helpful. There's a nice simple continental breakfast. Within walking distance of all of Sister Bay. All rooms face the Lake, and have a patio or balcony! I'd recommend the higher floors for the best views of the sunset."
