"I have been a loyal customer since the early nineties. Great products, fair prices and excellent customer service. Do yourself a favor and check them out."
"When we walked in to get a new pair of cleats from this place, the place seemed outdated but in an endearing kind of way. The owner was quite helpful with identifying the right shoes for us. They were overpriced, but I didn't mind paying extra to support a small local business. However, within a couple of days playing in these cleats, my son developed huge blisters on both of his feet, which has never happened before or since. I spoke to the front desk clerk and she literally yelled at us when I wanted to return the shoes. Then I spoke to the owner, who acted more restrained, but still refused to take the shoes back and instead asked me to contact Adidas for a warranty replacement. I spent the next few weeks talking with Adidas back and forth, including them not recognizing George's soccer as their certified retailer. I also called the store back and they again insisted that I should follow up with Adidas. Finally, I gave up and asked my bank to intervene. The following week I got a letter in the mail from the store's owner who asked me to bring the shoes back. When I drove to his store to give him the cleats, he started yelling at me in a very aggressive manner. He said that me involving the bank was unacceptable and that he knows where I live, which was unprofessional to say the least and sounded like some sort of a threat. I was taken aback by such open hostility and wished I had filmed it on my phone to share with the public. In other words, I cannot recommend anyone to shop there -- it's a "shop at your own risk" situation."
"Had a great visit and purchase of my new cleats. Stopped into the Southfield location first and found that I needed a size smaller. They called over to the Troy location and set them aside for me. Ended up purchasing them. Staff was very friendly and kind at both locations. Highly recommend stopping in!"
"I found this place while searching online for local athletic shops and stopped in looking for a new pair of boots. I had been browsing around online, to get an idea of what style I may want. When I arrived, they didn't have the exact pair I was originally looking for, as it's a new model that recently came out. However, the man helping me (Ralph) out said that they were on order and would be in shortly. He suggested that in the meantime, I might as well try on a similar style with the same fit, so I could be sure that I'd like them when they arrived. Great suggestion as they fit a little too snug for my liking. Ralph then helped me to find some other options that would be a more comfortable fit. He obviously knew his stuff, and helped me find the best pair for me. I should also mention that he did all of this while fully knowing that I wasn't looking to drop a ton of money on new boots, and still treated me as if I was going to outfit an entire club team. Great experience, and a great reminder of why it's great to shop local."
"Amazing! Some prices were high and some were really low. I was surprised that they had a top puma boot for 30 dollars. The salesman waited patiently for an hour and made a few excellent suggestions. Surely will buy again! Very pleased! Thank you !"
