"I purchased a pace trailer for $24,000. The thing is falling apart the ladder racks all the welds broke. The door actually fell off the other day and it’s not even a year old I do not know how they are still in business they will not ship me any product to fix it. And this trailer is for my business. Customer service is terrible. I would not recommend buying a trailer from them ever."
"Buyers beware, save your money!!!! 2022 7x14 outback dlx. Trailer is poorly built. Frame and roof supports are simply tacked together with a spot weld. Support structure has poor intermittent welds, burnt through tacks, and some with no welds at all! Multiple sheared bolt heads in tie down brackets. @paceamerican do you have a QA/QC inspection process?? This trailer has traveled 30 miles on the road and parked."
"Bought a brand new 2022 PACE Outback 6x10 trailer a few months ago. On my first trip using my trailer the side door hasp pulled out leaving my work trailer unable to be locked. Once I got back and contacted them it was a whole process to get a repair, and their "repair" involved running a through bolt through my nice plywood wall of the door. This is not fixed up to new standards and they refuse to send me a brand new correctly built door. My trailer broke on basically the first use, if you like poor quality craftsmanship and even worse customer service; by all means buy a PACE Trailer."
"I purchase two new Summit 16' trailers. The fenders on both trailers fell off within the first 1000 miles of towing. The rear upper trim piece holding the roof on came off and the nose panels have lost a third of the screws.. My newest trailer was only towed 800 miles and sits as a spare with equipment in it. I called the plant and the rep who was a female laughed at me on the phone and said thats why we stopped building them in Georgia because they did terrible work. And if you speak with Bill Gallagher in customer service he will be no help at all. Please do your research on Pace trailers. My biggest mistake was purchasing two Summit 16' trailers. They were $ 1400.00 more then a cheap off brand trailer. They are not better then the cheapest trailer you could purchase. The customer service is worse the their junk trailers. If anyone wants to contact me please feel free to do so. I can furnish you with photos of all the troubles. They know they have major problems and just want your money nothing more. I own a number of trailers one is a Big tex and it is one of the best open trailers and the company is great. I also own a Vintage Outlaw trailer built in Elkhart and that company is probably the best trailer company in the United States their trailers are great and their customer service is outstanding. One last thing they did offer me to send me a few screws for me to fix the mess they made."
"The front sheetmetal shifted and popped out of the corner trim, leaving 1/8” exposed to weather, during the ride home from the dealer. Reported it with pics to my dealer who said it was manufactured wrong and would need a new panel cut to the right side. Pace would not own up to it, guess they have their money. Will not buy another. Pace used to equate to quality but no more."
