"A good site to see. Brings go you back in time. The guided tour provides alot of information. Some a tad dry and unnecessary for the avg "homeowner" who's just there to admire but nonetheless, a good time. Believe it lasted just over 90 minutes?"
"What a beautiful residence. You can feel how a very rich family once lived in this house. I have amazing impressions after visiting this residence. I absolutely recommend everyone to see this house with their own eyes. The house is visited as part of the tour, starting at the History Museum located right next to it."
"What a beautiful house to visit. Make sure you make a reservation for the tour to see the inside of the home. The history of the house is very interesting."
"Absolutely a phenomenal house to tour. Immaculately taken care of over the years. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and provided great information during the tour. Provides free admission for active duty service members and discounts for veterans."
"Hands down the deal on a property tour I've this far experienced. Just $10/adult and u enjoy a brief film on the family history, their legacy's, as well as the home and all of its original antique contents. This rare gem was donated by James Olivers 3 surviving grand children completely as it appeared when their family resided on the grounds. In 2018 one of the grandchildren was married on the property that is often rented out for such occasions. To find such an immaculate home in pristine condition as if froze in time is an opportunity u had better seize the moment to see. Great way to spend an easy half day. The gift shop actually offers some unique buys too."
