"I have dealt with many roadside repairs. This by far was the best . The guy was very good and most of all never gave me the run around. Thank you!"
"We have used First Gear Fleet Service Shop a number of times for our truck and trailer DOT inspections. They have always been polite, helpful and their tech does a great job. Thank you to all of the team for always being there to support us when it's needed."
"The chick named H in the office was kinda cool. Needs to wear a bra tho. Long haired blonde dude working on stuff was definitely talented with his big hands. Will be back again to see H. and the long haired hippie dude with talented hands. Love u guys."
"Called to get a air dryer changed. Said i had the parts he said not interested and hung up. Guess this business dont need money or business that bad. 0/10 would not recommend"
"My company had a truck that would not start. Called this place and they dispatched a tech. He came to the truck and checked it out. He called me and said was not finding anything obvious causing the no start. Asked if I would authorize another $100 so he could plug the scan tool into the truck and see if there were any codes. I authorized it. A while later they called back and said it had no codes pertaining to the no start. They jumped power at the starter and truck started up. Truck will not start on its own with the key. They advised they have no idea what is causing this concern and recommended to now have it taken to a shop. $345 bill in less than two hours and I am really no further ahead than when I started, other than knowing the starter can be jumped to make truck start. That takes about 5 minutes to do and is by no means a repair. They were like.....Well, we got it to run, there you go! Better get it into a shop. This was not an emergency, truck was just parked behind a shop out of the way. I could have had it towed to a shop for less money ! The best part is while I was on the phone trying to find someone who could actually diag and fix the truck, their payment representative was blowing up my phone at a pace of one call per minute! When I received the invoice, it basically says "yup, it doesn't start. Scanned it and jumpered starter to get started." Being a fleet manager, I have dealt with alot of mobile repair places and learned some valuable lessons. I guess I can count this as a $350 lesson of who NOT to call when I have a truck problem in that area. Update: Not going to get into an online arguing match. For what ever it is worth, the truck simply needed the starter replaced...."
