Michigan Flyer/Air Ride

"DONT COUNT ON THESE GUYS TO SHOW UP! I'm going back to Uber for my ride to the airport. I went to their pickup location, and the bus didnt show up. I guess they only show up when they think they need to. One other time when I did ride the bus, the driver smashed into the parking structure near the Ann Arbor Station - as a result, we were very late because they would not let us get off the bus to walk 150 ft to the bus stop. We sat there for 45 min or so waiting while a bunch of people stood around and did nothing."

"Rode Michigan Flyer from Brighton to DTW on Monday and then back to Brighton on Friday in August. Trip to airport went fine. Trip back to Brighton resulted in multiple issues. Flight into DTW was delayed by an hour so I missed scheduled bus. Web site said to take next bus but staff nearly did not let me board until they were certain all the ticketed passengers for this later bus had seats. Bus was late by over 30 minutes for Ann Arbor stop and close to an hour for Brighton stop due to traffic and construction. Traffic and construction on Friday afternoons are known conditions so Michigan Flyer should advertise a different schedule that accounts for this in Fridays."

"Love the michigan Flyer. If you’re a student or live in A2, this is a very inexpensive and easy way to get to the Detroit Airport. It’s $25 round trip and they coordinate to similar times that flights are available. It will drop you off at 1 of 2 terminals at the airport, and it will be the one your airline is at. It’s a godsend for me and I love it! Very comfortable, about 25 mins, and MUCH less expensive than Uber or Lyft. I’ve used it about 8 times so far and it’s the best. It picks you up on the S 5th Ave side of the Blake transit center. Very helpful."
