"It was great, my father was born on I ron Mountain, and he lived in Iron River, there are a whole lot of distance relatives in the museum and the Henley Cemetery, the museum holds an abundance of information about families and their work in the mines. This is my grandfather. He had family that died in the mine and information of the mountain, and the county and families are there."
"Well worth your time. We were there for 3 hours touring all the buildings. From an early homestead to a lumberjack dining hall, a mine shaft display. much more."
"This museum is a hidden gem in our way from bond falls to kitch-iti-kipi . This is a very local museum and rich in its exhibition of historical American lifestyle. The highlight of the museum is it depict of the town in its prime time where the iron mining industry is very prosper and profitable. We can see the rich culture, advanced lifestyle, sophisticated tools and delicate gadgets. It mixed so well into our trip and added a lot of cultural components to our natural viewing theme. Thanks"
"Wonderful museum and a comprehensive history of the area. I had some questions that couldn't be answered and they had me write them down with my contact info so they could follow up. The school house is a must see."
