"I came into this store with my parents to look at a couch for my new apartment. I was very excited to have a look around. As soon as we walked in the store, an elderly man with no mask on asked us if we were vaccinated. No hello, how are you, just “are you vaccinated?”. I don’t suppose I need to point out that this is a complete violation of HIPAA, and my personal rights as a consumer. We asked him why he was asking us this in a furniture store, and he informed us that we must put masks on. As of right now, masks are only legally required in areas of public transport, such as airports, school, public buses, etc. It is not mandated by law that I must don a mask in order to enter a furniture store. I should know, I was at IKEA all weekend without a mask looking for other furniture and no one gave me a hard time. This “Sack’s Furniture” is run by crusty, nasty old people who don’t care if they’re being rude and violating the law and your personal privacy. I wouldn’t recommend coming here but if you do- be prepared to be harassed by one of the rudest salesmen ever."

"I bought a 3-piece living room set from them trying to keep my money spending local to Monroe. They were nice enough in the store but once I took possession of the furniture customer service went out the window. I had to have the sofa restuffed within 5 months. The second time I called was within the one-year warranty period and they would not send anyone out to restuff it again. I buy leather furniture and was greatly disappointed that they did not offer 100% leather. My sofa was in worse shape after 2 years then my old sofa was after 11. Never again will I buy anything here due to the treatment and poor quality of the merchandise."
