If a quick phone call was too inconvenient for them to be courteous, imagine them having to wait on an actual customer. I no longer will take the Meat Block into consideration as an option to suggest to others or a place I'm willing to spend my money. Choice cuts or mondays dinner Scott's Meat Market is always friendly and helpful. They also have better products at better prices. They are more than happy to answer a question or wait on a customer."

"Meat block has been in business since 1909 and is one of the absolute BEST places to purchase fresh meat, seafood, seasonings, and odds and ends! They have such a wide variety and selection of meats, from beef, pork, lamb, chicken, duck, fish, shrimp, and crab legs, down to frog legs.. They have the largest variety (that I have seen) of seasoning blends also. They have buns and bread, Mackinac Island fudge, dog n suds root beer, Ice box brand ice cream, locally grown and packaged/canned items for sale, and much, much more! Their prices are absolutely affordable for the quality of their items! It is worth the trip. I love to shop locally and this is my favorite place for delicious cuts of meat! This place comes highly recommended in our community and by my friends and family as well! We have been shopping here for years and hope to continue for many more years to come!"
