"Called just before noon for delivery. Small order around $350, but needed a few plywood and board cuts. Worked with Sophie. Drew delivered and unloaded before 4:00 . Awesome experience all around, and, at better pricing than others that are closer."

"Sadly, DeLeeuw ignored the mask mandates and a customer wearing a mask. In September of 2020, I was wearing a mask and waited over 10 minutes at the checkout counter. No other customers were in front of me. I was juggling the store items, my purse and leaning on post-surgery crutches. The two gentlemen behind the counter wouldn’t make eye contact with me. I asked if I was in the correct line - neither responded. However, I observed while I waited that both men greeted non-masked customers as they entered the store. In addition, 3 other DeLeeuw employees, sitting at desks along the south and west walls made eye contact with me and then continued talking amongst themselves. After 10 minutes of waiting, I set my items on the counter and left. I had planned to support a “local” business but ended up going to Lowe’s. Shame on DeLeeuw Lumber. After 25 years of loyalty, I no longer support your business."

"My year end ratings: Windows in our somewhat historic house, built in 1872, are original and often weather beaten. It is important that the windows remain authentic. I needed an old storm window, badly in need of repair and there was no other place to go. De Leeuw agreed to repair said window. The guy that repaired the window is a true artisan!!! I truly regret that I don't remember his name as I would mention it here - I'll do so later! I shall return because he was SO talented - window looked like new after he completely refurbished the completion with the old, half rotted window. I knew this would cost but in the end, they were able to charge less. I am very happy and hope to find him again in the future."

"Went to 5 different lumber places trying to get some pieces cut for a TV stand I'm making, this was the first place that had good plywood and was able to cut it. Helpful service, amazing staff (Steve was the main guy I talked to, but everyone was friendly), great quality wood. Highly recommend"
