"We have a large handmade Red Royal Kerman Persian rug which was in excellent condition for a rug 80 to 100 years old. It sustained heavy clothes moth damage last Spring. We were just sick about it! I visited The Rugport store in Petoskey Michigan, to ask about repairs. Mr. Amir Sultan took the rug to their store in Palatine Illinois, where a Master Weaver painstakingly repaired the missing wool pile eaten by clothes moth larvae. The work took about two months. We saw the rug today back in their Petoskey store, and are thrilled with the repairs. The colors were matched so well, the repairs are not visible. We couldn't be more pleased. The rug was also washed in Palatine, and the vibrancy of the colors came out like the sun from behind a cloud. I would recommend Rugport to anyone in need of damage repair, restoration of antiques, or cleaning of fine wool or silk handmade rugs."
