"Went to this gas station last night. Let the gas pump by itself (like I’ve always done with no problem) but this time the gas started overflowing. I didn’t notice until a little later. The first attendant assumed that maybe a gallon had overflown but guess is 3 gallons but it’s hard to quantify. Just this morning i called seeing if I could get reimbursed for the amount of $7-$10 and the lady i was on the phone with this morning was incredibly rude and overly defensive. I never approached her with negative energy just simply a customer that wanted to compromise fairly so because I’ve NEVER had this happen before in all my years of driving. She went on saying how I should’ve been watching the pump which is fair but again I’ve never had anything like this happen with any of my cars from 2011 to 2018 models. Also her tone was gross. Even just to show your customers you care it would’ve been a smart business and customer service move to compensate me $10 for the inconvenience. Instead she was nasty. It was not about the money it’s the principle. Also there are better ways and kinder ways to go about things. I’m going to be looking into the situation it’s so unfortunate the way some people treat people. By the way this is something that i found on the internet “pump's filter was probably so clogged that it caused an excessively slow flow, which did not cause the back-pressure needed to auto-stop the pump. I'd seriously question getting gas there in the future.” I post this statement to say their pumps could dangerous but at the very least don’t come here because they simply lack care for their customers unfortunately. God bless"
"Had never stopped here for gas before yesterday. To my surprise a cordial and friendly young man came out to pump my gas. He said we pump your gas 365 days per year rain snow or sunshine. Nice to know this service is available in town and was only few cents more per gallon than place down road. I will pay little extra for extra service!"
"I support the family owned and operated business model because I own one myself. It takes extra dedication because you're competing with larger chains. Small businesses have always kept the local neighborhood flourishing in my opinion and continues to be the backbone of the community. The staff at North Hill Automotive have always been fair, honest and up front with me and I really appreciate that. I love how they offer full service without the extra charge too! The guys work extremely hard to make sure everything is done correctly and in a timely manner. You'll always have a customer in me. Keep up the fantastic work guys!"
"Stay warm with a full-service gas station! We stopped in last night on a wintery evening and were surprised to be greeted by an energetic and friendly attendant. Neither my husband nor I could remember the last time we sat in our car while someone served us at the gas station. Pretty cool! Good prices and surprisingly friendly service."
"I've always had good experiences here. We live in the neighborhood, and it's nice to support your neighborhood shop. I've had a few flats and have taken them there to fix. It was inexpensive and quick. One time I spun the tire off my riding lawn mower and I took it down and Brian reseated and inflated it free of charge. They did a brake job on my wife's truck for just a little more than I could have done it myself. It seems their labor prices are very reasonable. For older folks who don't want to get out in the cold they will pump your gas and wipe your windows at no extra charge (although I'm sure the guys appreciate a generous tip!). Finally, they have free air, just pull up to the garage and fill up your tires. They'll even lend you a pressure gauge. It's what I imagine service stations were like back in the old days. Good, friendly, honest."
