"Got ripped off by a guy named Mike - took my car, asked me a bunch of questions about the specifics of the make and model that were unrelated to the problem because I needed an alignment. He kept the car for a day and said he couldn't get to it, and I asked if he could do a tune up and change an o2 sensor because I had a check engine light on for it; had to take a second day off of work, told me he would give me the alignment for free, and charged me $200 labor/hour for the o2 sensor and spark plugs, but he didn't specify and also changed the boots and I walked out with a $600 bill. My alignment issue was even worse, so I had to wait a month for more time off, and called up to get the same guy - he asked me the same questions about stuff that was unrelated, and wouldn't give me a quote for a ball joint replacement. I took it to Master Tech Auto in Riverview and got a great deal, the work was done quickly, and it was clear I didn't even get the alignment that I took my car into Guardian for because it wouldn't take due to the problems with the ball joint. The worst part is that I had Guardian replace the right side ball joint 2 years ago, and it went bad again before I've ever had problems with the left side. Terrible experience - I can't speak for anybody else, but don't go to Mike."

"I found I had an exhaust leak, a new muffler and flex pipe was needed. I had one shop tell me I needed a whole new exhaust system from the catalytic converter to tail pipe. It would be over $1000. Also, they would need a few days to order parts from New Jersey and I would be charged $50 for an inspection. Took the car to Guardian as it was recommended in a local FB page. Mike only replaced what was needed and was considerably cheaper than the first guy. No inspection fee either. I would recommend this business and was a pleasure to have worked with Mike."
