"Me & my boyfriend came the other day for pedicures & he also got a manicure. The lady that did her feet did great. He didn’t like his manicure because she cut his nails too short after being told don’t cut too much & they were a little sore. On my behalf I didn’t like my pedicure at all!! I asked for the 66 dollar pedi with shellac. The man kept pressuring me to get an overlay I finally agreed. He did the overlay first which I thought was strange then proceeded to do pedicure. He didn’t get dead skin off around my toenails at all nor did he do a good job on bottom of foot. I got it done two day ago & my feet still feel rough. I paid $230 for the whole service & im not satisfied! I was recommended by a friend because she said they really massage your feet but that wasn’t the case the man that did mine did a rush job. The girl that did my boyfriend did give his legs & feet a good massage. I paid all that money for nothing & im really regretting it"
"It is always easy to walk in and get serviced here even though they stay busy. Prices are better than many other places. They do a good job. Not quite as fancy as some places and not as many options for decorative nails. It is my go to place unless I need something really unique."
"Booked an appointment for shellac, but it ended up taking more time than expected. Unlike my friend who got done quicker as a walk-in. The process took significantly longer than expected due to being transferred between two technicians. Mentioned air bubbles on my thumbnails, but the technician dismissed it as normal without addressing the issue. It was evident that the technician didn't put much effort into the service. Unfortunately, my nails weren't done properly, and communication was hindered by staff speaking in their native language."
"My friend and I were squeezed in at the last minute (with less than an hour to close) and they did a great job with our polish changes/pedicures! All of the employees were friendly and considerate, especially the woman who I spoke with on the phone about our short notice appointment request. The prices were reasonable and in line with other salons in the area. I would definitely go back to Prestige in the future!"
"I went in with acrylics on and wanted a new set. I explained my nails are sensitive. The guy doing my nails (I believe chair 3) firstly was looking at his phone WHILE cutting my nails. Then he proceeded to use a nail tip to shove under my acrylics to try to take them off. It was hurting my fingers but I have a high pain tolerance so I refrained from saying something until the pain was worse on one nail. As he was ripping off my acrylics carelessly, he ripped my actual finger nail. He tried to act like it was no big deal. I was leaving for vacation and wanted my acrylics back on, but didn’t trust him to not glue the tip to my skin that was now exposed (which is still hurting today). I told him to just cut my nails down - a “regular” manicure; he kept trying to up-sell me to get a dip or shellac, but at this point I didn’t want him doing my nails. After a terrible manicure with sharp square filing and not smooth edges I was charged $30 (which is basically the same as gel manicure) $20 for a “manicure” and $10 for taking the acrylics off even though he ripped my nail and I had my acrylics originally done at this salon. I’m a licensed cosmetologist who has done nails myself in the past. These were not “best practices”. Ever since I’ve gone here it was hit or miss and this was the last miss for me."
