Menards 10400 Assembly Park Drive, Wixom, MI 48393

"I bought a generator as a Christmas gift and waited till after Christmas to assemble it (its mostly assembled). Put the oil and gas in and I have another generator but this one was to run the whole house. Well something is wrong with it and it is faulty. I was told by the rude store manager I should of read my receipt and only had 7 days to return or exchange. I have never heard of such a horrible return policy and one you wouldn't warn your customers of. The check out person told me about the rebate which I will get rid of as ill never step foot in a menards again. Worst customer service EVER. I was then told I could take it and pay the bill to have it looked at and fixed and if they couldn't I would have to bring the bill in and exchange. Laughable. Brand new 1000 machine is junk now. Shop lowes or home depot or Costco (who let you return years later)."

"Retired of the store is harder and people that can't work or have any basic knowledge, but in the store for 35 minutes looking for a drain hose for dishwasher. And it's kind of funny. Not one out of 14 employees can show you where to go or what to do"

"This store is clean and friendly. They have some great prices and sales. I really like the snacks, and pet supplies. They also have a receipt copy kiosk near the entrance, which really helped me with an exchange. I think some of their clearance prices could be cheaper, and the 11% mail in rebate is a hassle, and I've never been able to do it within the time limit. This is why I didn't give 5 stars."

"The contractors desk does not care about customer service let alone the contractors that buy from them. They're sense of urgency across the store is non existent. They think we all get paid by the hour not by the job. They enjoy wasting our time."

"Many times when I shop at Menards I meet extra ordinary employees that are so willing to go beyond their responsibilities to help me out. Nate, who works in the lumberyard was the nicest employee to help me get the treated lumber that I needed to help me get it cut and put into my vehicle so I could leave, this man a lot because as I’ve grown older with less things I can do and his willingness to help me out was just super exceptional. The employee that assisted him. And the female guard at the gate were also exceptional, warm friendly, and just gave me a wonderful experience. I have been shopping here for decades and I am continually impressed by the good staff that Menards always hires to help the customers out. Thank you, Menards."
