"First one must be a member... then you are afforded condescending explanations of their other standard policies which result in less than sub-par service. When I purchased tires and had them installed, the service techs neglected to use anything to assist them in loosening corroded threads and instead decided to break my valve/TPMS from the rim. Professionally, I am trained to look at broken parts and understand where fractures started and reverse engineer what happened. The head of the tech department lied to my face and made me pay for a new TPMS because 'it was their policy'. It is now two years later and they have still not been able to successfully program the unit they installed so I continue to drive around with the tire pressure warning light lit on my dash. The personnel turnover is quite high so I decided to try my luck again with a car battery I needed this winter. My wife warned me. I should have listened. I called ahead to make an appointment and was told on the phone that it is first come first serve. When I arrived I was initially told that I needed an appointment (while I could plainly see the battery I needed on the shelf and three techs wandering around in an empty shop). Finally they decided to do the work. I was able to use points I earned by being a loyal Sam's club member to reduce the overall cost but it wasn't worth it. I was treated to the worst service I've had in my life. When the work was done (it took them 20 min to replace a battery in a Toyota Sienna which is super accessible), a lady happened to walk up to the counter. After 5 minutes of listening to them mansplain how tire pressures decrease when it gets cold to this lady, I got to approach the counter. That's when I had got my turn to listen to their explanation that they took extra time because they were letting air out of my tires! Because it was their policy! Then he proceeded to blame ME for breaking the TPMS sensor because my tire pressure was 'so high' (less than the maximum tire pressure, exactly where I wanted it). I was told that I would have to make an appointment to get the TPMS fixed. Hard NOPE to that. The Management must be horrible here. NEVER EVER is blindly following a 'POLICY' more important than doing the right thing to ensure a happy customer (especially when it wouldn't cost you anything!)."
"I have had my tires rotated and balanced several time. The men in the department have wonderful phone and people skills. I was impressed with the way they communicated and of course, how well they did their job."
"Brought a used car that came with winter and summer tires. Sams refused to switch the them because I didn’t buy the tires from their place, even though I have bought tires FROM THEM for other cars in the past. Really disappointing."
"Very disappointed that my under warranty tires on 3 vehicles. 12 tires total, are NOT under warranty as you have closed the TIRE center for over 4 months, due to Covid. I have tires with bad seals, that lose air, and tires that haven't been rotated in over 10K miles. Refund on my warranty or are you going to reimburse me the out of pocket cost at a local garage. Car repairs were deemed essential since day one. We NEED this service for safe travel."
"It took 3.5 hours to put new tires on my vehicle. Additionally they broke one of my TPMS sensors during the installation. They told me they replaced the sensor and the tire pressure light on my car will go out after about 20 mins of driving. It did not. Went in to have them fix it, however, they did not have the sensor in stock. I was told they would call me in 3-4 days to schedule a replacement. I never received a call from them. Went in to see what was going on, and they had sold the sensor to a different customer. Then they tried to say it was my responsibility. Really poor customer service all 3 times I visited with 3 different staff members."
