Reviews
"Don't believe the low reviews. I had a great experience buying my 1st pair of Cowboy Boots this evening. My salesman Jeff gave me a great customer service, spending time talking through Boot Care & wear. The staff was attentive and helpful and I'll definitely be back for my hat next time. Thank you again to the team at Boot Barn this evening."
"Very nice staff helped me out with my boots that were faded, and they look much better now. Great selection, definitely the best boot barn I've been to!"
"Place is a joke. Ordered boots to be delivered at store. Picked them up and they were damaged. Just wanted to exchange for something different. The manager said he could only do a return to the original card because it was an online order. Their return policy says a completely different story. When I called him out on it he was CLUELESS. This guy doesn't even know his own return policy. Thankfully their corporate customer service people were helpful and are taking care of this issue."
"Stopped in to ask a question about their return policy on boots and was treated very rudely. The question was I had originally ordered a pair of Danner's on line and within 30 days the stitching on the toes came out, I messaged boot barn to see what they would be willing to do about the issue and was told that because their product was not waterproof that they were not going to do anything. I WAS a customer of boot barn for years and spent at least $300 a year on work boots, as of the last pair of boots I bought and my experience today not only will I no longer be a customer, but I will be telling everyone that I know in the construction industry that boot barn DOES NOT stand behind their products and to spend their hard earned dollars elsewhere. Because I will never spend a cent at boot barn again...."
"The store is beautiful and has tons of selection but be warned, they work off commission so youll be followed around for a sale. The guy we dealt with, Keegan (hate to use names but I wont go back and I'm hoping this will assist with some training) - started off solid but it got so cringe worthy and reeked of desperation we just wanted to get out of there immediately. He actually said to my husband, "cmon man, help me out, we work off commission" ...Yep, we could tell, but that's not how it's done. Once he realized he wasnt hitting a home run, he disappeared. We are a dual-income, no-kids family so spending was not at all the issue. There was zero customer service while checking out - the cashier would literally be rather doing ANYTHING else (yeah, us too) and then I see a receipt taped to the counter with a $1k total and a "Good job Shelby!" written on it. My secondhand embarassment alone at this point made me realize why we usually go to Scott Colburn. I'm all for celebrating wins (in private!), I worked in retail. However, this store is poorly managed and in dire need of sales and customer service training. As someone else mentioned, it was super obvious the employees were talking trash to each other about the customers, and probably us. Really disappointing. This store could do amazing in that spot if they whip their folks in shape. I truly hope they do, because if our experience is anything like the norm, it'll fail before it can even take off."
