"This store is THee worst branch of journeys I have ever been to. Every time I go to this store it does not matter who is working the associates are rude and do not even acknowledge my existence. Today I visited both stores at the mall. The first store to make a return at the adult branch. There were no problems with my return and the associate there directed me to the kidz branch to return some Sonic shoes that were too big. As my Son and I approached the store there was one customer ahead of us and the associate at the desk looked right at me so she knew I was there. After she helped the people ahead of me (a couple) I walked up to the counter the girl then looked at me and turned away. There were at least 4 other associates in this store who looked at me as they all including the girl that was at the counter stood in the door way to the back room and talked. That is when another girl came out of the back room and looked at me. I thought she was going to help but she smiled and kept going. The girl who was originally at the counter when my son and I arrived was looking at her phone and then she looked up at me and said "do you need a size?" Irritated by this I simply said no and said I had a return. She began examining my shoes and telling me as long as I have a receipt for my shoes it will be ok. I told her I talked to customer care and I was told that as long as I have the confirmation email I did not need a packaging receipt. She continued to keep saying ok as long as you have a receipt with an attitude. I am sorry but I don't believe I deserved her attitude problem when I was mistreated from the moment I walked into the store. My son handed me an ADIDAS shoe he wanted to try on and I was going to exchange them for the shoes I returned but when he saw how rude she was being he timidly said he didn't want to try them on anymore. I asked my son to put the shoes back and she said "YES! Please" now first off this is my child and he is only 7 years old and had no idea why this girl was being so rude; why I did not become irate for the way she talked to my son I do not know but that was completely out of line! Before we left he picked up a Heeley shoe and I asked if they had it in a size 1 and I was told that they had no size1 in any Heeley shoe. No I will not shop at Journeys again if this is the service I have to look forward to and this is not the first time I walked into the store and was either not greeted at all or greeted with an attitude. "This Journeys has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I walked in at noon to buy a pair of shoes for my daughter. At checkout, I asked what the return policy was in case they didn’t fit. I was told I had 1 year to return as long as they hadn’t been worn outside. I came back at 7PM to return the shoes since they were too big. I was the only person in the store and 5 employees were at the register yet, it still took forever to be helped. When I was finally greeted, the manager (5/16/23 7:05PM) was extremely rude. She wouldn’t return the shoes even though I bought them earlier that same day. She proceeded to have the worst attitude I’ve ever seen. I began explaining that I couldn’t keep the shoes because they were way too big and that I bought them earlier that day. She cut me off and said, “well I’m not about to go back and forth with you.” She decided to tell me who her supervisor was and proceeded to say, “I’ll see you tomorrow,” aggressively. I have never been treated this way and I won’t be returning to this store until this employee is fired."

"Went in to buy my daughter a pair of shoes. The guy working couldn't be bothered to look up from his phone for the few minutes we were there. My husband finally went up to him to ask if they had my daughters size. The guy was visibly irritated and walked away without a word. He literally turned the corner and turned back around. Didnt even look to see if they had her size and said "nope". Seriously, I get it's not glamorous but you chose to work here. I'll buy her $60 shoes elsewhere from now on."

"I purchase a pair of Vans slip on shoes sides 41/2 that did not fit my son. When i purchase them the only pair they had that size was the one they were using one shoe as display, i didn't think anything of it. Took them home and a couple weeks later when i went back to the mall tried to return them only to be greeted by the most rude lady (the manager at the time 05/25/17 at 8pm) i have ever encounter, who asked me with an attitude what was wrong with the shoes, i told her they did not fit and wanted a return, she took the shoe out of the box and said no i am not doing a return because they are dirty, she was looking a the shoe that was on display that had lint from seating out, i told her that they had sold me a display shoe and she went on to say i don't care and i am not doing a return. So i asked her that it was Ok for them to sell display items and then not wanted to do a refund for them. She went on to say they were dirty and was not taking them back. Attached you will see the picture of the brand new pair of shoes that still have all the tags attached to it the are not used at all. I will never purchase pair of shoes from these store. Their customer service is the worst."
