Reviews
"They had so many books that I wanted. I had a hard time figuring out which ones to get. Not bad price. But I couldn't find very many used childrens books. And not many used hard backs"
"We found Lowry’s on a whim as we traveled back home. The main store is great for the whole family (toys, board games, Lego, and of course books). For the adventurous the orange line into the vortex of books is where fun really starts. It might not be the easiest navigation as you feel you spelunk into towering walls of readable pages. However, the staff are more than eager to guide (and even search with) you to the proper area for any category you could think of. Having spent over an hour combing the shelves we were able to find a few exceptional treasures, and will be making this a regular stop."
"Books galore. Best book store in west Michigan only complaint would be I had store credit here from years ago and it “disappeared”. Oh well, I shouldn’t have waited years to use it so I’m not too mad. So many books you can actually get lost in there. Lol. Highly recommended"
"I hate to go against everyone, but after reading all the great reviews and driving 2 hours to get there to say I was disappointed is an understatement. I went with two of my sisters, we are all avid readers, not one of us found a book. I did find three old westerns for my husband, but not one for me. They did have a few of my authors, but not that many, and of course they were all the books I've read. I mostly read historic mysteries, or cozy mysteries. Everyone was friendly, there are tons of books, and great cookies next door. If it was closer, I might try again, someday. So, if you are near Three Rivers, go and let me know if you find something. As a side note, the children's section looked nice...lots of nice games too. Happy hunting."
