"I’m having severe eye issues and desperately need to see the dr. For this recent issue. My lifetime eye dr retired so trying to find a new place I tried here. When I called to find out if they accept my insurance I was told yes! We take both. So I scheduled an appt. Once I got there they were friendly & The female dr was amazing. Truly kind and very informative. After the appt I was setup with someone to pick out glasses or contacts. When I asked the price difference bc i have two insurances they stated they can’t use both, when i was told before making the appt they do too. They even ran both to see how much coverage I have (which is the highest tier) when I tried to find out how much glasses or contacts would cost with billing only 1 insurance, since they won’t “double bill” (bc they have to pay a fee to be able to do so, but they don’t want to do that. This info was never given prior scheduling) they wouldn’t give me a price. Just said to order the contacts and pay when they come. I stated I don’t wanna be surprised by the cost. I need to have some type of estimate. Even if it’s a little off since I’ve never wore contacts before. They kept pushing just order them anyways without knowing not even a guess in price. I felt it was all about hurrying to get me in the door and charge whatever they wanted. I was able to get a next day appt. Now I know why. I just ended up leaving without any contacts or glasses. And was told I now owe a bill for the exam. I’m very worried due to having really bad issues with my eyes recently. They were not up forward with scheduling, billing or pricing. The dr like I said was amazing. Just everything else was disappointing. Now I’m trying to find someone else who accepts both insurances and can help with my severe eye issues."
"The doctor explained in detail answers to my questions. She also came over to the frame selection area when asked by the associate just to see what pair of frames out of two I had chosen she thought looked better. No doctor has ever done that!"
"They need to change they way they book appointments. I called for an appointment and they advised there was an opening at 7am which I took. Having a 4 month old baby its hard to schedule anything and work at the same time. This morning I did all the running around to get my baby ready to go since I had to leave him after the appointment to his nanny and then go to work. Well when I arrived at 7:01am the lady said I was late, I should have been there at 6:45am and that I was supposed to receive a text about this. If I book an appointment on the phone for 7am, then I should not get a text saying there is a hard 15 min arrival policy. To be honest I did not read all the text but if this is the case, the lady on the phone should have said its a 6:45am appointment not a 7am one. The lady at the counter could care less, she did offer me to come back at 8:30am but I said that is when I start working so I could not. It is a huge deal to leave the house with a baby at 7am and to be told that I was late was extremely frustrating. I will not be recommending nor using their services anymore."
"Eyecare doctor was wonderful- great explanations, attention to my Eyecare and exam went smoothly. Amy Bell is very competent and knows what she is doing. My reasons for not putting 5 stars was because I had to wait more than 30 minutes for the scheduled appointment so time management or scheduling needs attention."
