JASMINE NAILS AND DAY SPA

"Went to Jasmine for a french manicure and pedicure. Pedicure was standard, the manicure was quite disappointing. As I prefer a more natural look I communicated that I wanted shorter nails with close to my natural nail shape and small French tips that were proportional to shorter nails. I also requested a sheer nude on top to tone down the stark white and even out my nail bed color. I provided photos. I received square nails in which I had to repeatedly restate I wanted a natural nail shape, not square. The French tips were then painted on square. I continued to politely communicate the look I was seeking. The nail artist began to talk under his breath, deeply sigh, and did not take my feedback into account on my second hand. At that point I felt I was aggravating him so I stopped correcting, clearly the look I was hoping for was not getting across. The sheer nude top coat came out with streaks on 6/10 fingers. I came home and trimmed my nails to a more natural shape. Day 2 and I already have chips, although I recognize this could be due to trimming my nails afterwards. I feel for $65 I should have been able to receive a small french tip manicure and pedicure without the trouble. I’m including the photo I provided and my “fixed” result. I am sorry to say that I do not recommend Jasmine nails due to this experience."

"Did a great job with my dip Mani & polish Pedi! Couldn't be more pleased with my time and service at the salon. Johnny did tips with a dip because I wanted the almond shape and I just love the final product. Be warned the polish and dips don't always match up but Jasmine has multiple lines and a large selection so I will be back. I wanted the color that was put on my toes but the dip was different as you can see on my nails even though they were both marked DD175 but I can make this color work as well! Next time I want to match, I will just try a different brand at the salon like OPI. Thanks for a great experience, communication and the great prices so I can come more often! "Have been going here for the last 3 years. Not even interested in trying anywhere else as I am always happy with the services. Sarah does an awesome job on creating really pretty shellac designs and the nails stay on really good! These were done before Valentine’s Day so they are 3 weeks strong and no lifting or chipping! The salon is very clean and comfortable and super friendly. Definitely happy customer! Had to post a picture of another great manicure at Jasmine Nails! Love going here!"

"I ALWAYS go to Jasmine Nails!! I have been for many, many years. There's only two techs I don't like using. ALL the others are GREAT PEOPLE that do VERY High-Quality work, well also maintaining GOOD PRICES!!!! I had a new nail tech today, which made me a bit nervous... She did a really good job! She's talented, very friendly, and I'm really happy at how my manicure turned out. Thank you Dorina! I would def. go back to her again! Highly recommend this salon!!"

"Hadent been there in a couple years but I'm glad I went! The girls are awesome, friendly and funny. Made me feel comfortable, we all talked the entire time and of course Marie, I believe her name was, did a wonderful job on my nails. Would highly recommend them over any other in the area, I've been to almost all the salons in Oakland county over the 15+yrs I've been getting my nails done. Def a top on the list!"
