"I’m originally from California where there are salons everywhere! And I had a few of my faves that I was a regular at. As a Samoan Pacific Islander, it’s very hard to find a stylist who knows how to work with my hair. When I moved to MI in 2020, I was looking for a stylist who can work with my hair. My hair is thick curly and long (have cut it recently) that’s when I met the lovely Mel! He did my hair once & I knew that I found my stylist in MI! :) and will not allow anyone to touch my hair unless it’s Mel. He has worked on my hair since. it’s been 3 years now and Mel continues to exceed my expectations! I recently went in this past Sunday & he had it exactly how I wanted it done.
