"Clearance prices are still crazy expensive for being clearance out items. Also, I came with my grandma and we both agree that this company should not be sending out $10 off coupons for credit card users if you can't even use it on everything. So many exclusions you can't even get something for a decent price. I was happy that they finally had one of the upstairs registers open, cause it's usually just the ones downstairs. We get not being able to use the 30% off of clearance and the number of other things for a generic coupon that goes to anyone. But your card users shouldn't have so many exclusions to where your customers that come often enough to have one of them, doesn't have to find something that is twice than what it's worth."

"Love JC Pennys. pretty well stocked, only issue was long wait Friday before Christmas and was told 11 cashiers did not show.. long lines of course. But cashier in luggage dept was helpful. You do have to be careful and alert as the area has a problem with crime even in the daytime. Parking can be rough but will go again."

"I went to this JCPenney twice over the previous week. One time I bought a spark coat the second time I bought a shirt. I can honestly say that my second experience was by far my best because I actually had service from a pennies employee. What time I was there I had absolutely nothing. I was on my own. I couldn't even find anybody that appeared to be willing to be helpful. It's evident that the model now for pennies does not reflect what the model was before. Overall, it's an okay store. Not sure I'd go out on my way to shop here, but they were the only people in the area that had what I needed on a short basis. Prices were okay. They're in the mall and the only other men's store in the mall did not have the same selection. And I will say that the other large change store that was there had nothing for men that was worth even looking at. The area for the women's intimate section in the second star was actually larger than the section for men. At Penny's at least there is some differentiation and a fairly good section for men"

"I was looking for a specific item today but wasn’t able to find what I was looking for so as a last resort I asked a store employee if she knew if they had a black dress shirt for a girl. Marilyn left what she was doing and took me to different areas of the store where she knew we might find that item. She was such a big help and it only took 15 minutes of her time. Thanks Marilyn!"
