Supercuts 2030 Lake Michigan Drive Northwest, Grand Rapids, MI 49504

"The people that work here take advantage of old people. My 94 year old mother recently got a haircut at Supercuts on Lake Michigan Drive. When she was paying with her credit card the associate was having trouble with the cash register and had to change a tape, but assured my mother that she would not be doubled charged. When my mother got her credit card statement she indeed was charged $30 twice. So she went back to Supercuts and showed the lady that she was double charged $30. However the lady would only give her a refund of $23 which was the cost of the haircut. The lady told my mother that she "could not give her the extra $7 because it was a tip and that Bank America would not refund it". So the lady in essence is collecting two $7.00 tips. At 94 my mother does not think very fast, so just walked out an accepted what the lady told her. This in my opinion reflects very poorly on Supercuts and the people that work there. They sure must be money hungry to screw an old lady out of 7 bucks. Update regarding response from the owner. My mother reached out twice about this issue. Once by going back to the store and she also called a supervisor at a number given to her by the store employee. The supervisor told her the same thing, we can't give you the $7 back because the bank won't do that. I, her son. solved the problem this morning by calling her credit card company and disputing the $7 over charge. Yes it is not alot of money, but it is the principle of the issue. My mom told me she will not be doing business with you in the future."

"I have been going to this location for almost 3 years now and in the past year the quality has significantly declined. I've had uneven haircuts and bad waxes, but I've always thought the lower price and location were worth it. But now I've had two appointments "missed" because the person booked me for a different time than we agreed on and there wasn't availability when I showed up at the scheduled time. I don't even know how to explain that when the 2nd time I made sure to confirm the appointment time twice... Spend the extra few dollars and go elsewhere for a better cut and service."
