"My friend recommended this place to me and I just moved to Texas, I was looking for a new stylist in my area but I did have some problems with her. I’ll start off with the positive, her shop is beautiful & very clean, in a nice area and she gave me some refreshments when I walked in. 1. First, she is Hispanic so she talked in Spanish with her Hispanic customers who were waiting on her to be done with my hair, there were about three other women who walked in after me. I am African American and felt uncomfortable with this, not because she is Hispanic but the atmosphere seems to cater more to Hispanic women and their hair, then talking in Spanish the whole time left me confused, I felt maybe she was talking about me but I don’t know. 2. She is not personable, she tried to be nice but I could tell she just wanted to be done with my hair and move on to the next person, even when I told her that I needed to go back to the dryer, she caught an attitude. 3. The silk press was good but not amazing, maybe she doesn’t know how to do black women’s hair but I asked her over the phone and she said yes. 4. BEWARE! She owns and runs the place by herself! There is nobody else that works with her and she definitely overbooked, so she asked me could I wait around while she shampooed another woman’s hair and I said absolutely not you need to finish which she did."

"This place is so old and out of touch it’s a lady name Fran that act just like a Fran ironically lol they are older which I think is the problem they need to go back to school or go on the internet to learn some new techniques because how they do hair is a BIG NO for me I tried to give the lady some advice but she was rude about it I still paid even though Fran did a horrible job on my hair if you need anything done to your hair GO SOMEWHERE ELSE you will thank me later lol"

"Was the first customer through the door. Wanted my hair braided or twist. Mind you My hair was platted. Walked over to the stylist and coversed. She said my hair is already braided. Ok, so I asked if I take it down can I schedule an appt. Was told I only do walk ins as she jesters the person behind me to come to her chair whom hair was also done. After 30 and forty dollar tips. Left there and went to Reflections."

"Love this place and I've been going for years. Daryl has always been my guy but Byron and Joe will treat you right too. Daryl also owns Stock Da Bar Vodka so ask him about it!"

"Wouldn't ever go anywhere else! Been getting my hair cut here for 20 years plus and I've never had a problem, they are good at what they do."
