"I don't normally write bad reviews, but I feel that is necessary. I went in asking for the French nails, fake set. I get the fact I should've also told her I wanted the Acrylic not the dip, I have been there before and didn't know they even did dip and I've always got the Acrylic there. But she didn't ask me either so when she started doing that I told her that isn't what I wanted and it all went down hill from there. They hurt my nails filing them off then complained the whole time about how difficult it was do my nails because they were crooked,or too wide, or I wasn't holding still, or I was staying in the right position. I was even told to watch the TV and keep my eyes off of my nails. I honestly don't think I should've been treated like that I get it was an inconvenience for misunderstanding. I will never go back my nails are not even done good, there very uneven and some are thicker than others. Just all around BAD experience!"

"Rude customer service. Went in for my Birthday to get my nails (acrylics) filled and got nothing but harassed the entire appt all because I got my previous nails done at another local salon. Tried saying my nails were “yellow”and that if I get a fungus I’m not allowed back. Saying this very loudly for others to hear. (Happy Birthday to me). I take very good care of my nails and this was only my 3rd fill since having them..trust me if I thought my real nails were in bad shape I’d get my acrylics taken off. The lady did two of my nails crooked and I politely pointed it out and she was going on about how it’s my finger that’s crooked and she can’t do anything about it. Obviously the previous salon could do a better job than her I suppose because I normally don’t have crooked nails. The nail polish looks streaky. She’s rough with your hands forcing them to bend in ways that aren't comfortable. And to top it off two days after getting my nails done one of them breaks. I went back (dreadfully) to have it fixed and she gave me nothing but attitude and charged me for her having to fix my nail. I will NEVER be going back and I suggest looking into other salons in the area before considering this place. I’ll stick to my Hart and Manistee locations."

"I had acrylic nails for years and years until I started my painting and remodeling company. My hands and nails take such a beating I figured what’s the point. After years of missing my nails, I finally decided to pull in to Luxury Nails on a whim. I walked in and asked for a full set, only waited about 10 minutes even though they were pretty busy and it was the end of the day. Chau (probably spelled wrong) was my technician and he was super friendly. We had a great conversation the whole time. When he saw my nails he recommended that I did NOT get a full set because my nails were already pretty long and apparently very strong. Instead of just slapping them on taking my money, he suggested trying a gel polish first and seeing how that went. If I liked it, there would t be a need to do the full set, which would damage my real nails. I was hesitant because I was excited, but took his suggestion. I am so happy I did. There are two pics from the day after I got them done and another a week later. They still look great!"
