"Dr.Thompson was a great help in my mental health journey and really listened to my wants and needs. I appreciate all the work she has done with me in the few short months we have spent together. Please get help here if you need someone to really be on your side in your road to recovery!"
"Dr. Thompson is kind and I think truly cares about her patients, but for the almost full year I saw her maintained practices that were out of date… I have OCD and she told me to put a rubber band on my wrist and snap it every time I had an intrusive thought. There’s been a substantial amount of evidence from multiple reputable sources confirming that this not only doesn’t work, but is harmful for working through OCD. She also asked me my height and weight every single appointment even though we had an appointment every month. I’m also an adult who hasn’t had a height change in years… I’ve seen different psychiatrists over the past five years, and none of them did this."
"Don’t waste your time and money seeking help at Infinity Hope if you have ADHD and want financially accessible and appropriate services. I discontinued treatment at the center because I was no longer in the financial position to afford their services. But looking back, I’m grateful I had to stop. There were so many red flags during the brief time I was treated there. My current doctors were shocked when they heard what medication Dr. Thompson had me on. Dr. Thompson refused to test or treat me for ADHD and instead referred me to expensive, genetic, hormone and neuropsych testing that was inaccessible due to half-a-year-long wait lists and being incredibly expensive, even with insurance. It should be said that another group of psychiatrists has since diagnosed me with ADHD in just two, thorough and reassuring appointments and are treating me appropriately with medications actually meant for my symptoms. My quality of life has improved exponentially since finding treatment elsewhere. Dr. Thompson prescribed me a medication that isn’t advised for people with ADHD. The medication sedated me and stole my life for a week. Based on what she said to me in our appointments, Dr. Thompson intended to keep me on as a patient through seven months of repeated, expensive appointments and medication experiments while I waited for neuropsych testing. If Dr. Thompson lacks the expertise to diagnose ADHD, she should refer patients seeking help with inattention to psychiatrists with the appropriate expertise, not refer them to inaccessible neuropsych testing centers and push inappropriate (sedating) medical treatments. I desperately wish I would have read the google reviews before seeking services at Infinity Hope. It’s eye opening to learn that I’m not the only person with ADHD that Dr. Thompson has pushed sedating drugs on. This center provided me with no real services or help and yet I’m still paying off their worthless bill. People with ADHD deserve better."
"Dr. Thompson is hands down, the best psychiatrist I've ever had as an adult. She is incredibly knowledgeable and takes a holistic approach with medication. It is important to work with someone who understands how pharmacology, nutrition and other factors work together to effect mental health. Especially with ADHD where so much of what support is out there falls into two categories: 'meds are bad/big pharma/dangerous' or 'vitamins/supplements are ineffective/a scam/bad'. Dr Thompson, while grounded in pharmacology, takes a measured middle path that includes safe and effective treatments from both approaches when medically appropriate. Dr. Thompson is incredibly thorough and takes the time to really understand the patient as a whole person to implement a personalized treatment plan. I especially recommend Dr. Thompson for people diagnosed with multiple conditions, ADHD and those who are part of marginalized groups. You're not a number, a stereotype or a statistic with Dr. Thompson and her approach has been very healing for me from decades worth of negative experiences with in mental health treatment. Also her staff are wonderful to work with and everyone I've interacted with at Infinity Hope Center is professional, kind, and very good at what they do."
"Dr. Thompson has been nothing but absolutely amazing! I had been on the wrong medication for a long time and struggled with my mental health for so long. Dr. Thompson listened to me and was so patient and understanding. I am feeling the best I have in such a long time. I highly, highly recommend her. The office staff is also very sweet and helpful."
