"Don't come here for ER. Very poorly run department/organization. They will leave you in a hallway for 12+. The different shifts don't communicate with each other about tests done and results. You will see the person collecting the billing info far more than any doctor or nurse. They will also continuously tell you no beds are available. But that's only the ER beds. It's almost like they try to see how many people they can squeeze in there before admitting people upstairs into the main sections of hospital."

"My father has been coming lately, yes ER is packed, but it is what it is. But the Staff have excellent attitudes even when stressed. Security is cool too. Been on H5 lately & I appreciate the whole team there. Also the operators are nice as well. My only complaint is the WP door from parking lot. It's a walk when closed. Hopefully you're change your mind about shutting it down. Young Family"

"From the moment we arrived at Henry Ford we were treated very well. The ladies at the first floor check in provided a hearty much need laugh, after a stressful hour and a half snow and icy drive it was much appreciated. The sixth floor was all one could hope for during a stressful event. Kindness, compassion and efficiency. Nurses who looked so young were excellent to me. Doctor who explained and listened and provided a good outcome. I am grateful for them all. I would absolutely recommend Henry Ford Detroit."

"Er on Jam. Beyond capacity. Patient in every space. Takes a day and a half to get treatment. Once admitted at least 18 hours to get a room. Staff over worked. Once you see a doctor it takes a long time. For lab work and test.. The food is cold.. Strange Kitchen hours for breakfast, lunch and dinner.. Security search before entering the hospital. Armed security. No complaints towards nurses that cared for me.. No complaints about the doctors that saw me.. However blood draw was painful.. wheel chairs a problem.. ER was past capacity, patients everywhere. In chairs.. bad experience and being seen. Staff overworked. Transport was ok in moving patients once admitted and released."
