DMC Harper University Hospital

"My husband was sent to Harper ER from Karmano by his oncology Dr. Sukari. We waited 5 hours in the waiting area with no communication as to when we would be seen. When we finally did get called we were told we needed a Private room because my husband was a cancer patient...think it was strange that we were ok to set for 5 hours in General waiting are. Also with no water and the rest rooms are awful!!!!!"

"Worst hospital I've ever seen, Very dirty, my neice was in I.C.U, they didn't know how to treat her condition, they basically told me, as long as, she is breathing she's fine. I asked if she could get moved to a different hospital, they told me no called my attorney and they said she can leave, as long as you can transport her safely. We did leave and went to another hospital,. Worst dirty hospital ever.! I'd like to know how they stay open!"

"I didn’t want to give a completely terrible review because not everything is bad but I will say the some if the nurses should be more caring of their patients they do not check on their patients I been here for hours and no one has come in to check on their patient or round on them at all when they start their shifts. How do they even know how the patients are doing? They do not give their sitters breaks and I think they should have something like have someone designated a few hours out of their shift just for breaks or tell the floors they have to give their sitter a break and it’s mandatory and that they cannot refuse to give their sitters breaks"

"My Man has been in Harper Hospital since Sunday, went in through emergency on Sunday got a room early Monday morning. Here it is Wednesday and he finds out that his doctor had not been notified, that he was admitted on top of that. The wait time on water is three hours the wait on you pushing for the nurse is overwhelming 30 minutes or longer luckily he was able to walk and find water himself. It's sad that Hospital are being open understaffed. Not getting the care you need when in need of Hospitals!"

"One thing I am big on is COMMUNICATION! The hospital lacks just that. I called on Thursday to schedule an appointment regarding an imaging order for the Radiology Department. I was told by the operator that I didn’t need an appointment and can walk-in. The operator gave me the hours of operations and when I was informed that I could come on a Sunday I was in shocked because it didn’t seem right. So when I asked the operator if she is correct on me coming on a Sunday she’s stated yes. Which was convenient for me because of my work schedule. Well today is Sunday and guess what??? Yeah, they’re not open. The Security Guard and the Front Desk Assistant informed me upon arrival that they are no open. Harper Hospital get y’all communication in order. By the way, this review has been done while standing within the hospital before leaving."
