"Since my first review was erased immediately I’ll be shorter. The workers seem nice enough but the dr is crazy in my opinion and in a round about way called me a loser when I was discussing my disorders, didn’t know owning your own business being with the same women for 20 years has two kids and one already graduate from high school and I’m 39. She told me to my face I’ve accomplished nothing in life, that was her words. Very disrespectful human being"
"I had a phone consultation to get into the spravato program (I've had it in South Bend in the past) and was promised things would proceed. I haven't heard a word since. Can't seem to get any answers. Was told their entire staff left. So I'm more than a little frustrated. What was that appointment good for? It was submitted to insurance but I have gotten nothing from it. The call itself was a nightmare, with frequent cutting in and out. I'd say the whole experience was worthless if there is going to be no followup. I am not safe at the present time in my home, so am camping for several months but they have my number. I'd like to hear something soon."
"Dr. Tareen and the mid level provider, Amy, were incredibly invalidating of my experiences. Argued with me about my choice to not have children due to past trauma. Treated me like an addict for taking a benzodiazepine *as prescribed* for sleep from my previous provider. Told me I could choose between trazodone or ambien as “better“ options. I told Dr. Tareen I had problems in the past with trazodone; she prescribed it anyway. Now the office is charging me $35 to transfer my records. I am writing this review because my depression worsened and my CPTSD was triggered due to the lack of compassion by both providers. I have valid complaints that were swept aside. I deserve to be heard by my provider, so I need to move on."
"Dr. Tareen listened to all concerns and most importantly, addressed my son as an individual even though his responses didn’t always correspond. She explained her thoughts and findings in a way that I could understand exactly. She confirmed our understanding and answered any uncertainties. She was kind, welcoming and personable. Her office was very comfortable and staff accommodating. A+++ care!"
"I had been a patient for over 8 years. I tried to withdraw from Effexor over a five month period and crashed. She gave me pristiq. Same drug as Effexor. Tried TMS, no change, same medication. Instead of pursuing other diagnoses or meds did nothing but push same drug, different name. Then changed to trintellix, absolute nightmare. PA was given incorrect info from pharmacy and cut me off from getting a refill for klonopin. Refused to speak with me over the phone. Horrific health care providers. Saw Tareen to stop klonopin. Failed to warn me of serious and dangerous withdrawal symptoms. Incompetent physician and PA. Changed psychiatrist and immediately changed diagnosis and doing well."
