There have been times (including today) that I have contacted him after hours with concerns about my children and he doesn’t hesitate to respond. He truly cares about his patients and goes above and beyond. I cannot recommend him enough."

"Dr. Akrawi is amazing himself. My daughter is 6 and has been seeing him since she was born. Unfortunately, we barely get him as our doctor on our visits. The other doctors, nurses, and office staff are rude and condescending. I waited a half hour on the phone just be put on hold again. Ended up doing an online visit through my insurance so she could get diagnosed. I’m going to be searching for a new doctor. They should really look at their staff and make some adjustments."

"As all the post are stating the Doctor himself is great. After that everything is terrible. Hard to make appointments, office staff is over worked, new staff all the time, sick kids mixed with yearly check ups and infants, farms out everything. We switched doctors and as a final insult they charged us $18.50 per child to transfer the medical records."

"My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Akrawi since she was born and is now 13. It's unfortunate because Dr. Akrawi himself is fantastic but like other reviews mention, he is never there and the staff has progressively gotten worse and worse over the years. Today was the last straw. We had an appointment for my daughter for something very common on her finger and when one of the staff left the room they spoke about treatment (the rooms are NOT soundproof) and one of the staff started saying things like "ewwww". We all remember life at 13. It's hard and even common problems can feel larger than life. My daughter was hurt and i was mortified to hear the Dr's office say things like that. I spoke to the office about it and I've talked about it with my daughter but in today's society where teen depression runs rampant, this was kind of unbelievable to go through. We won't be going back. A doctor and their staff should be someone you trust that you can go to for help. This staff is clearly not in the right business if they can't handle scars, bumps, bruises, and everything else kids can be without making them feel bad or weird or gross."
