Reviews
"Been going to Dr Malinoff for 5+ years for chronic back pain. I have always been treated kindly and with respect by the dr. and the staff."
"Honestly one of the rudest and most arrogant doctors I have ever met. And I met a lot of doctors when I went through four years of stage 4 cancer, and now three years of various other doctors as I recover. Also, he needs to be reeducated or otherwise figure out how to stay on top of changes in the field of pain management because his attitude and much of his beliefs are outdated. I tried to communicate with him peacefully, but with this man that is just about impossible. The only note he wrote on my chart after the visit was "pain related to extreme psychosocial dysfunction." I'm a former cancer patient, I went through chemo for four years and am still recovering, that is the source of my pain. I've never had any other doctor say anything even close to that diagnosis. And look at these other reviews. Many of the same complaints are being made by other patients. The attitude he had with me when I tried to bring these things up to his face was definitely not one of a man who thinks these bad reviews have any merit to them. Avoid at all costs."
"An expert who sometimes works with upset people who are addicted and in denial. He helped me through all of that to a very successful. Sometimes he's a bit flippant, which I think he does in order to through comic relief into difficult situations. He has learned from his own past and has shared that with me and, I know, many others."
"Only sent over here because of my fibromyalgia and my arthritis. My meds were working fine but basically my doc just didn't want to write the Norco's anymore. I walk in and front desk staff was pleasant, but lord the PA. She immediately pulled up my MAPS and was grilling me about why I got suboxone from one doc and Percocet from another doc. Uh because I was pregnant and didn't want to take Norco while pregnant because Im a responsible person, and the Percocet was because I had an emergency C-section with said pregnancy. Its was like she automatically insinuated that I was doctor-hopping to get pain meds. Next, she immediately wanted me to stop my Xanax and my muscle relaxer before she would even consider writing suboxone. First off, I don't want suboxone as the current dosage of my meds have been working for the past 6 years, second I have been taking Xanax (same dosage) since I was 16. I am 30 now. Same with the muscle relaxer. I told her I have panic attacks, and then insulted both my psychiatrist and therapist saying that "Therapy alone should help me with that. Obviously they aren't working for you so I can give you some suggestions on therapists and psychiatrists that will". Are you really going to sit there and insult two wonderful people who have been there for me in some of the darkest times of my life? Nah hard pass. Also told me my muscle relaxers are completely unneeded. Lady this is the ONLY muscle relaxer I have tried that doesn't become in effective in a short time period, and I have tried 6 others. I think as both a nurse and someone who is finishing up their MA in clinical mental health counseling that I have a pretty damn good idea what my body is like and how it reacts to certain things. Horrid. They gave me paperwork for bloodwork but no way in HELL am I coming back"
"Fantasic doctor. Knows his craft and knew exactly what to do for me. I would highly recomend him for alternatives to Soul Stealing opiate medications. He helped me get my life back and continues to guide that path. So grateful and so blessed to have found Pain Recovery Solutions."
