"I brought my uncle in last night (Monday) around 6:30pm. It now Tuesday the next day at 9:17am after the initial in-take with 3 doctors, when we first got to the back. We have not had a visit to find out any information or plan of action that they plan for my uncle care. The nurse did tell us he has COVID early this morning. I buzzed the nurse at 6:30am this morning to change him and find out if he was being admitted. She said he had already been admitted. I explained that no one has come in to talked to us and I need a letter about this emergency because I was supposed to be flying out of Metro at 7:30am this morning. I did mention this last night to one of the nurses . As I write this it's Tuesday 9:28am and still NO doctor has come in here to talk to me. My uncle's has not been feed or even offered food or water, they have not checked his insulin today or given his regular daily medication. He has dementia so that why it's important for me to talk with the doctor. Yes this information is on his file and the nurses verified that with some of the questions he was asked."
"My father missed his dialysis for a WEEK. We told the medical team he was falling a lot and unable to get up. And we told them his home dialysis machine wasn't working. The medical team knew all this, tested his blood, determined it wasn't an emergency, and discharged him. These hack doctors said "nah he's fine, send him home." His dialysis machine continued to not work the night we came home as I suspected, and he fell again the next day. Now we took him to a real hospital, U of M. He's getting the care he obviously needed there."
"I was iin the hospital . I was sick for 3 days, I had covid, they kept me in the Er. On the day I was hospitalized, they gave me a private room on paper, they kept me in that ER room for 3 days, Was a misery, I received first aid and medication, but otherwise only when I couldn't anymore and I asked I received some food and water. To my surprise, they put on the bill that I had a private room, with bathroom and amenities, which is not true. And what's more, those dirty ER rooms are 2670 dollars a day !!!!!!what.???? .private room 2400...Anyway, what happens in these hospitals is unacceptable. People are kept on those mobile beds, on the hallway for whole days, they have no privacy, when they sleep and are not paying attention you can see all the parts... No one says anything because our lives depend on them. Why does this happen..???? Of course it's a pandemic, no, it's not a pandemic, you're only interested in money, you don't hire enough staff, you don't invest at all for decent conditions. Why don't you put yourself in people's shoe ,our lives no longer mean anything in today's society. I hope someone will take a action and will investigate."
"They have bed bugs. When told about the bed bugs, tried to insinuate we brought them. Also, kept us in the hallway the entire time. No room for us to feel comfortable. They had us on a random bed in the hallway. Do not come here."
"I was in a very traumatic crash on January 10, 2024. The ambulance driver said this was the best place for the wounds I had. After being here for 5 straight days laid up I can not thank the staff and support I received. From every single person that helped me out from the bottom of my heart I can not thank you enough. I came in wounded not only physically but mentally as I suffered a truly traumatic experience. The staff were all super helpful and friendly. Really cool personal from the nurses, nurses aids, dietary, surgeon, support staff.. I can not thank you enough. Highly recommend"
