Reviews
"Asked me if the reason I didn’t come back for a follow-up appointment was because I was in jail. I have never been incarcerated and he had zero reason to suspect that I had. I was there for a hand fracture. The fact that Dr. Livingston was so willing to stereotype someone he knows essential nothing about leads me to believe he probably treats people differently based on his personal biases frequently. The other negative reviews appear to confirm this. Go anywhere else."
"Dr.Livingston is a warm, kind surgeon who performed my breast reconstruction after mastectomy. He explained procedures thoroughly and listened to my questions and fears. I am so thankful he was my surgeon. His staff is wonderful also."
"Dr. Livingston has empowered me with incredibly patient and thorough education while making difficult decisions about breast reconstruction post-mastectomy. I am grateful for the peace of mind he provides with his continued care and guidance."
"Dr. Livingston did amputation surgery on my pinky after cutting it at work. Surgery was on a Friday and wrote me note that I could go back to work on Monday. Two days after having my pinky amputated.gave me two days worth of Narcos for pain. Had to go to primary care to get more pain meds. After about 1 month of recovery started getting signs of CPRS which debilitating pain, far worse than original injury. Gave me gabapentin for pain which has no effect and said I could go back to work. So if your looking for any empathy what so ever or trying to alleviate any pain at all don’t waste your time."
"Dr Livingston has very poor bedside manners, little to no empathy, and a very flat affect. Brought my husband in as referred by ED 2 days after a traumatic amputation of a fingertip, through the bone, which was further ground down and filed in the ED. ED gave 10 Norco tablets which only brought the pain from an 8-9 to a 7.5. When asked for adequate pain medication, this doctor stated they're usually done with "those" by now and ibuprofen was all he was initially willing to prescribe and specifically mentioned drug addicts. He gave me a long, deep stare with pursed lips as if cussing me out for being a drug seeker. We're both recovering alcoholics and told him so much, neither with a history of controlled substance abuse. When he came back into the room, he explained he did call in stronger pain medications with "trepidation" due to history of alcoholism and "notes in [his] chart" which I can only assume was the marijuana use we were honest about. I would not recommend this physician if you're having acute uncontrollable pain related to a cut off limb."
