"If you are coming to this practice for VBAC or any sort of sane/calm delivery, please leave and go anywhere else. You will end up with a forced C-section. Within moments of arriving, she told me both me and my baby would die if I didn’t have the surgery that she had already scheduled (prior to assessing me) many hours later…. She puts on an excellent sales pitch upon the initial meeting. The interactions declined from there. Hospital bedside manner was terrible, cold and she lacked necessary empathy/compassion. She disregarded a post surgical infection that requires treatment by a different provider. She treated both myself and the nursing staff as inferior. The list goes on and on. Given one star simply because their office runs on time and the office staff is extremely kind. Wouldn’t recommend under any circumstance."

She took care of me for my first pregnancy and I felt I was in good hands from the moment we met. She is a good listener and very knowledgeable. My delivery was excellent. Her coaching really helped me as a new mom. I felt confident that things would go as well as possible. The office runs very smoothly and is always on time. Robin, Christina and Brooke were also great in the office. Highly recommend this physician and staff."

"This was my first time meeting Dr. Powell since they switch between her and the midwives. My first appointment I had Tina Rush and loved her. She is definitely very personable and ready to answer any questions you might have, while making you feel very comfortable. I met with Dr. Powell today and right away I felt comfortable with her as well. She was definitely quicker than Dr. Rush but was willing to answer any/every question I had and is so knowledgeable! Both doctors are so sweet and now I am going to have a super hard time deciding which one to go with for my birth! Thank you lovely ladies :)"
