Dr. Rosemary H. Park, MD

"I cannot in all good conscience recommend Dr. Park to anyone. I went to her a few years ago and she gave me the most painful pap smear of my life (cramping for days afterward). But the worst part was that she completely ignored and minimized my experience. I came to her for advice on birth control because I was experiencing severe panic attacks and derealization on the pill I was taking at the time. She told me birth control does not cause anxiety and said, verbatim, "Maybe you should see a therapist." (I actually was already seeing a therapist, but I felt this was completely inappropriate.) I do not feel that Dr. Park has the compassion or knowledge necessary for this field. Hormonal birth control absolutely can contribute to anxiety and depression -- it's literally made of synthetic hormones! To no one's surprise, my symptoms stopped when I discontinued the pill. I ended up finding a different birth control option through another OBGYN who actually listened to me. I never went back to Dr. Park again and I do not recommend that anyone else does, either."

"Don't go to her. You'll regret it. The way she treated me and spoke to me was rude but the birth of my son was a nightmare and scary. BECAUSE OF HER! we're very lucky my son is completely healthy, now. I switched doctors immediately and have told as many people as I can not to go to her."
