"Rooms very dirty. Mold in bathroom, no bathroom fan and all steam from shower going into room. Fabric furniture worn-out and greasy. Carpet in room very nasty, feels crusty from how old it is. Floor in pool never been cleaned , mud froom boots . Water in pools not clear and stink like a lot of bleach. I got errotation on my skin after 10 min being there. Disgusting place."
"One star is too much for this hotel. They gave us an out of order room. The loud loud sound coming from the air conditioning unit or similar was shaking the picture frames on the wall. It was so loud. When asked to change room, they said they were sold out and in the morning after not sleeping on a night we really needed to we were told that was supposed to be out of order And not given out. Very very unacceptable. Way to treat us or any other. Do not stay here if there are any other choices unless you don’t need to sleep."
"I have stayed at this location quite a few times in the past and never had an issue. However, after my most recent stay, I was charged an additional $250. This hotel as well as all other hotels I have stayed at are non-smoking and I am well aware of that. I contacted the hotel and was told by the clerk that the additional charge was for smoking in the room; there was ABSOLUTELY NO smoking in that room. The clerk transferred me to the General Manager and, of course, he/she wasn’t available so I left a message because I want to see the “evidence” of smoking. After waiting with no response from the GM, I called back. The clerk answered and put “Kim” from housekeeping on the phone. Kim proceeded to tell me there was smoking in the room and became very rude AND hung up on me. I have left several messages for the GM with still no response. I have seen similar reviews where others have been charged this fee when they state they did not smoke in the room; it seems to be a pattern with this hotel, a way to make extra money I guess. This is absurd! Had I smoked in the room, I would totally accept the additional charge but there was no smoking in that room when I was the guest. Beware of this establishment. Day 3 and still no response from GM...such lousy customer service."
"Very friendly staff. Very quick check-in. Clean rooms, great friendly check out. Great breakfast for a super great rate. This is an awesome Hampton. They just do all the things well. I’ll be back."
"As regular Hilton guests, we stayed here for one night on points on our way home from road trip. This hotel is worn and tired. Nice staff, but hotel needs major improvements. It has paper thin walls, broken gym equipment, stale rooms, stained carpets. The shower cut out three times mid-shampooing. We were kept up half the night listening to neighbour’s loud tv and conversation. We could also hear people in rooms across the hall. These other guests weren’t particularly raucous- they were just behaving normally in their rooms. The hotel felt pretty cut-rate - more like tenement living rather than a division of Hilton. We won’t stay here again. Management: Please don’t respond with usual pass-the-buck message to contact the 1-800 help line. Unless you can provide a direct number for management, we don’t consider your efforts to remedy the situation to be sincere by simply sending us to a call centre. If you want brand loyalty, you need to make more of an effort."
