"CAUTION!! Before you leave this hotel be sure to check your guest bill. I have never dealt with a more incompetent facility. We were double charged for a meal we had at the restaurant. Once we got home and discovered that we were overcharged we immediately called to have the second charge removed. Instead of removing the charge, we were charged a third time for the same meal. We called back and then another charge came through immediately for our same dinner meal plus our breakfast meal. Although the charges were immediately added to our credit card we were told that it would take a week for the refund to be issued. Today, four days after our stay we received a notification that there is another pending charge for our meal. Right now we are owed well over $200. I will never stay at this hotel again. Although the room was very nice, the furniture was worn and had holes in the fabric."
"0 stars for the manager. The other employees are AWESOME though! They’re very accommodating and are able to change your reservation with no charge. Many other hotels are the same as well, but the manager at this hotel makes a very big deal out of it. If you call the hotel, good luck if she answers! I suggest calling when she’s not there."
"The rooms were modern, accommodating, and comfortable. I couldn’t ask for a better bartender/server than Dana S. She was talkative, personable, funny, the list goes on! I would highly recommend staying here for a day or even coming in just for a drink and a meal! Highly recommend!"
"Cambria Hotel Detroit is located near 23 mile road and M-53 in Shelby Township. It is a nice hotel with a restaurant and a very nice set of expandable meeting rooms. I did not get a look at the actual hotel rooms, but what I was able to see was very nice. The lobby and surrounding area were very modern looking. We were unable to book this hotel for our event because a large group had already booked the hotel for the dates we wanted 9 months out."
