"I hope I haven't made a mistake by booking this hotel for multiple rooms myself along with other guests. I just looked over reviews. My daughter is getting married and the last thing I need is to have a bad experience at the hotel. I seen the hotel was new so I thought the experience would be fantastic. I have always had a good experience at home2 suites. Our reservations are not until May. I'll get back to you all. Nancy Allen"
"Brand new hotel. Everything is gorgeous. Rooms are spacious. Workout space is good. The pool is small but enough. I wish there was a hot tub. The free breakfast was generous and had lots of variety. The staff was helpful and accommodating. Our room had two queens and a pull out. The kitchen is really nice and comes with lots of stuff."
"We had a pleasant stay. Staff was kind and helpful. Clean rooms, soft pillows. One issue with Internet fail in our room, and staff immediately accommodated a move to an adjacent room. Grateful!"
"The hotel is a solid 3 starts. The location is 10 minutes away from the airport, but no airport noise is audible. However, the walls are paper thin, so bring earplugs if you’re sensitive. The room was clean and spacious, had a kitchenette and kitchenware. The window blinds didn’t close all the way so unfortunately there was no way to completely block out light. The breakfast was underwhelming (pancake breakfast sandwich with pork sausage being the only protein option), and the gym is small. Didn’t get a chance to check out the indoor pool but the sign said they use salt water. There are also laundry facilities available."
"I have loved staying at Home2Suites since 2017, whenever my travels take me where one is located. This is a new location so there are some kinks that need to be worked out. While staying there two nights, I saw two dead bugs near the wall. I wasn't concerned as I know this is a good sign the insecticide is doing it's job. On the morning I left, I saw a small cockroach moving around in the middle of my bathroom. I captured it and put it in a tissue. I took the tissue to the front desk clerk and asked to speak with the manager. She informed me the manager would not be in until that afternoon so I told her what I found. She took my room number and said she would tell the manager. Prior to writing a review, I called three times to talk to the hotel manager and each time, was told the manager was not in and would not be in until later. Well, today, I reached the manager. I explained the above and that I wanted to talk to a manager before writing my review. I was disappointed in her attitude. She informed me that it was a brand new hotel and the room has been booked almost every night since my visit and no one complained - her tone implied that I was lying. I was not lying. I was attempting to ensure the front desk person told the manager so the situation could be addressed. The manager informed me that they would do an inspection and if there was evidence of an "investation" in the room, the pesticide company would be called. She said if evidence was found, they would refund my stay. Please note that I did not ask for a refund as my purpose was to ensure the hotel addressed the issue. I was also informed that the former manager was no longer employed by Home2 and that there was no way to determine if the front desk clerk reported the bugs to him - not even, as I suggested, by checking to see if a pest control call had been made. It is disappointing that a hotel guest would be treated with such disdain and disrespect when the purpose was to inform and assist a hotel chain that I had enjoyed for many years. I had hoped to post a more glowing review but that was not possible today."
