"The staff interacted with at the agency were all very nice and professional. However, everything felt rushed and very last minute with this despite having everything set up for a few weeks beforehand. It felt like everything was being done at the last possible second and there were countless delays in getting rh closing figures to us. We had to assign a DPOA to sign for us because we were on vacation for our closing date. This has been communicated to every party involved and after dropping off the check the day before, I was told that everything was all set. The day of closing I get a call on vacation stating that the underwriter for our mortgage suddenly needed to see images of the check we received for our down payment gift. I had to spend almost 45 minutes on the phone sorting this out and the underwriter wanted to cancel the closing of the house. Thankfully, our realtor refused to do this and we were still able to close but our realtor told us that there should not have been any reason why the underwriter was still working on these things on the date of closing."

"UPDATE: they called my mortgage broker, apologized, and refunded the 99$ title fee for us. They tried to make it right Just closed our refinance here. They scheduled us at the wrong location (which they blamed on my mortgage company despite the fact that I showed them the confirmation letter they had sent), then gave us the wrong agent, then handed us someone else's paperwork to sign. We waited for another agent. Then we had to resign everything we had already e-signed through the app. They brought us incorrect tax documents that took more than 30 minutes to update and print - blamed that on the mortgage company too. . After being there for nearly an hour and half, I went to find someone and told them that we needed to leave to go pick up our kid. The agent came in immediately, was rude, blamed it in other people. More importantly, the woman I asked for help wasn't wearing a mask despite the fact that she was in the office by the door with and open door. Not a good experience at all."

"They were awful to work with and make several mistakes during my closing. I would suggest working with ANYONE rather than ATA Title Group in Grand Rapids. Update: They also didn't file paperwork as required so I am having problems due to this company almost a year later."
