Maple Lane Resort

"Stayed two nites Sept. 22&23 Lovely place. Steps to the end of road to Glen Lake where the have their own little beach, hence, pier with canoes and kayaks. Very quiet. Very convenient to Sleeping Bear. We prepaid so check in and out was less than easy. In back of motel is a grassy yard with a very nice fire pit area, a grilling area and horse shoe pits. A nice deck with table and chairs. Shaded. Glen Arbor or Empire are a short drive with some nice restaurants. We ate at Good Harbor Grill in Glen Arbor and truly enjoyed it. Accommodations suited us well. Just what you’d expect for northern Michigan. Great comfy bed. Good wifi. Just loved this place. Highly recommend it especially if you’re going to Sleeping Bear which is maybe a five minute drive."

"Not sure how much I really want to share about this little gem! My wife and I have spent many years around the Sleeping Bear. We usually camp at DH Day in the fall, but growing popularity (and population) has made it tough to get one of our primo campsites. This year we were completely skunked! We decided at the last minute we needed a Sleeping Bear fix and came across Maple Lane and decided to give it a shot. Reservation online was simple and fast. Got an email saying we were all set and didn't even need to check in at the office. Room was all set. Very clean room. Smelled great. Clean, tight sheets. Spotless bathroom and shower. Lots of hot water and water pressure to soothe the old weary muscles. Short stroll a few houses down to Glen Lake with our own dock. Nice sandy swim area. Extras for water activity. Extras for campfire. Extras for cooking out. Extras galore. In the evening, we came back from Glen Haven around sunset and sat on the bench by the lake and watched the after glow of the sunset on Glen Lake. Our time was a 5/5 or 10/10 however you measure it. We had to reboot the DVR to get the TV to work but who cares. We like peace and quiet. This is a great place, and we will be back."

"You really cannot beat the location for the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes area and it is a very short walk to Glen Lake. It was so nice to be able to pop in and out easily during our sight-seeing. Beds were very comfortable - otherwise the room is very basic and was very clean. The shower and bathroom are very small. Hotel owners were nice to chat with!"

"I took one day to explore the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore on a wedding trip and decided to stay at Maple lane, convenient to both ends of the Lakeshore. No regrets! Lovely beach, good room, and convenient location. Charming spot!"

"Stayed here for a couple of nights & would definitely stay here again :) The resort was close enough to 2 smaller towns, so driving for food & activities only took a few minutes. They provided free kayaks & paddleboards for all of us to use which was awesome! The room was comfy & it was the perfect getaway spot!"
