Bicycle Street Inn & Suites 7416 Main Street, Mackinac Island, MI 49757

"We drove from Texas to stay at Mackinac Island. We booked 3rd party site for Bicycle Inn South. Our room was ground level. We were next to Shepler’s Ferry. All day long and into the evening subjected to the music blaring from their lobby. It is so loud, the door going out to the ferry rattles. The 2nd night, the ferry employees forgot to turn the music off. Allllllllll night the music blared. Called around 130 am to the hotel stay who are across the street. Staff was not very nice and stated they would “text someone.” Next morning asked to speak with manager. There was a small adjustment to our stay. Stated they could not do much since it was a 3rd party stay but if we come back again they would make it up to us. We left 90 degree temps to come here and enjoy fall. The drive is almost 24 hours before any stops. We could not even enjoy the balcony we paid extra for due to the music next door. I hate to leave negative reviews but I don’t want anyone else to be miserable. I also wrote a ferry review."

"We loved our stay at the Bicycle Street Inn. The service here is outstanding! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and we loved the balcony overlooking the street. The inn is right across the street from Sheplers Ferry so it's really quick to get to if you take that one! We can't wait to return!"

"If you’re looking for more modern-decorated hotel in the Mackinac Island, the Bicycle Street Inn is the place. We stayed for 2 nights on the island and had the suite with balcony and the room is perfect. Great location right across Shepler’s dock. All the restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Friendly customer service. Again, this is NOT the usual 1950’s wallpaper-haven & slightly-creepy usual Mackinac Island style rooms. I honestly think the Grand Hotel guest rooms are inferior compared to the Bicycle Street Inn rooms."

"Loved our stay here! Multiple times we commented to each other about how nice different things were. Rooms are very spacious, quiet, and clean. They’re modern and luxurious, not creepy or outdated like most of the hotels on the island (no offense to them, I know it’s the vibe of the island but it just isn’t my cup of tea). The location could not have been better, and I loved where our room was as well- super easy to get to the street. Staff at check-in was friendly and helpful, and our room was ready at 12:30- a huge help with our kids! Our luggage was taken off the ferry and delivered straight to our room, so helpful! The mini fridge was actually cold, and thermostat worked accurately. And the shower was absolutely amazing, great water pressure and the hottest water I’ve ever felt- can’t even get it that hot at my own house! Just overall a wonderful stay and if we come back to the island again we will definitely be staying here!"
