"The condominium looked run down and in need of repairs. Not cleaned very well when we arrived. Found dirty sheets in the downstairs bedroom closet, a half of a dog biscuit on the fireplace mantle, glass stains all over the counters, dirty dishes in the cupboards, stains all over the carpet and it was 81 degrees inside."

"Love this place. It's beautiful. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Facilities are well kept and clean. WiFi isn't slow and they offer great amenities. I would suggest bringing a couple extra pots if you're going to be cooking for a large group of people."

"We have been coming up here for three years and love it more each time we come up. We come up multiple times a year so we can explore the area in all four seasons. Trout Creek is a great place to stay with or without kids. It is centrally located so it's a great home base. Harbor Springs and Petosky is a short 10 minute drive, 30 minutes to Mackinaw City and about an hour to Traveres City. The grounds are beautiful. The pools are great! My favorite is the middle outdoor pool in the warmer months. We have stayed in unit 118 everytime we come up and love it. I'm sure all the units are as well kept as this one is. There's so much to do in this area, wine tasting, beer tasting, beaches, hiking, shopping, great food and awesome winter sports. I always look forward to our next stay at Trout Creek."
