Mc Gowan's Family Motel-Restaurant

"Went there for lunch a couple of times this last week. Home cooked meals and salad bar. Service was good. Food was good. Only one of two choices in Trout Lake. This gives you a quieter atmosphere than the other one unless you want to drive more than a half hour for another choice. Never stayed at the motel. We have a camp nearby."

"Nice price in a quiet out of the way place. Their restaurant serves all meals with good food at a good price. You can walk to all the local places in minutes. Would stay there again."

"We were on our way to Tahquamenon Falls and just happened on this restaurant on the way. It was excellent. The server was very nice, there were a number of obvious locals there, and the food was delicious. My friend and I both had omelets and they were perfect! Highly recommend."
