"There's so much merchandise that it's a bit overwhelming but I'm going to guess that they're gearing up for the holidays. Couldn't find an employee to help in footwear so I called the store and asked them to send someone. Gave employee the shoe size and he mistakenly brought out a UK size which was not the same. Prices were $35 more than an online competitor and price matching was not an option. Bought the $80 cheerleading shoes anyway."

"Bought a new crossbow today that was assembled by Dunhams- cocker string broke first pull and damaged the bow and injured my husband. The pounds were set way too high- u have inexperienced young kids assembling the crossbows. Super rude teenagers refuses too help and stood there laughing at me getting mad. Katie made me so angry it’s unreal you have her as a manager. You need to review the surveillance of the way she dealt with the situation. I’m a breast cancer survivor and I need a crossbow to hunt- so much for hunting this year. Called corporate several times with no return calls."

"I checked on the website to find snowshoes in stock. The site was incorrect again and again. After calling many stores I finally spoke with Emma in Portage michigan. After a small wait she checked the new stock that just came in and they had them. She set them aside for me. I am driving from Southbend indiana. The customer service Emma gave was beyond exemplary. I would give Emma 10 stars if possible. Excellent job Emma. I will definitely be returning to Dunham’s of Portage for all my outdoor needs."
