"We just played a junior Irish team and our kids at the end of the game said that their coach said “your parents are shit”. Not just one of our kids said he said that but multiple kids on our team told us this. Also our boys lined up and tried to give them high fives and the coach said that his team was not shaking our kids hands. Also during the game he yelled to his kids “come on boys don’t play at their level. Number 1 let me say this if this coach had an issue with our teams parents he should have had the guts to come say it to us adults instead of our children. Number 2 it shows your character which is clearly poor. Number 3 I’m raising my kids to be respectful and have morals which clearly this adult man child was never taught. Next time sir, if you have something to say please address the parents because 11 year old boys “12u” cannot defend themselves against a grown man. And my son is being raised not to disrespect adults anyways. Which might I add you should know better as a so called “man” that this was uncalled for and a coward move. Also their parents were not angels either yelling to push our kids back. Anybody that plays soccer knows that not one team is perfect and that when kids are playing soccer both sides have moments of not playing the ball. Our parents did not address any of their children or their parents. And last but not least we played on a hill when all of their other fields were empty. But that’s ok because our kids adapted and adjusted to that field just fine anyways. Coaches should be mentors to our kids. This is not acceptable behavior. The world is ugly and scary enough these children don’t need grown people adding to that. You my sir should be ashamed of yourself for saying this for our kids to hear but not for us adults to hear"
"Great Fields. The kids said they were above average and you could see the crest of the field allowing water to shed with heavy rains. Here for Rip the Wave lacrosse tournament and was impressed with 12 fields, multiple age groups. There were portable bathroom yet needed a service to clean at the end of each day...they were rough after first day. Parking was efficient to pay yet the 2nd south lot was mismanaged and was not set up well with parking issues not straight, too tight of rows, double parked, parallel against perpendicular...just well staged or planned. Plenty of vendors was a huge plus for food and gear if needed. Field were of quality playing surfaces. Recommended."
"RIP The Duck tournament 2021 day one was awesome. So happy to see the LaCrosse community get together again to watch our boys and girls compete"
"This is the second lacrosse tournament I've been to at this location. Parking was busy but not crazy that you couldn't find a place to park. The fields were planned well, well marked and easy to walk between. Even with the rain we had, fields were still in good condition. Plenty of port-a-potties and hand sanitizing stations. Reminders posted about masks and social distancing. And dogs were allowed (bonus). Well maintained area and would go to a tournament here anytime."
"Nice soccer fields, would be nicer complex if they had at least one actual building with restrooms though."
